Before real estate, Clay spent over two decades in executive leadership at some of America’s largest retailers, developing expertise in high-stakes negotiation, operations, and problem-solving. Having experienced the market himself as a buyer, homeowner, seller, and landlord in San Francisco and New York, he understands what clients are going through — not just professionally, but personally. With a background in design and construction, Clay evaluates properties through a different lens — identifying what’s cosmetic, what’s structural, and where value is often hidden — or overlooked.

Since moving to San Francisco in the mid-90s, Clay has lived in eight different neighborhoods and never stopped loving the city. Outside of work he is with his family and their dogs, happiest when traveling or vacationing near the water — surrounded by people who make him laugh.
