Interesting, diverse, eccentric — all are welcome here. With a rich history and culture, artists and musicians and writers and and diplomats and entrepreneurs and free spirits and captains of industry have all been captivated by the island’s charms. It’s been my home for over 20 years. I’m raising my family here, happy to give them a safe, small hometown where unparalleled nature and exceptional cultural opportunities are right outside our door.

I moved to Key West in 2000 when I purchased a 38-room women’s guesthouse here which I operated for 13 years. I had the privilege of serving as a County Commissioner for 12 years, giving me a keen understanding of all our islands, from the Southernmost Point to Ocean Reef. I have decades of marketing experience, and I understand land use regulations and property insurance issues. One of my proudest moments was as a Co-chair of Key West PrideFest in 2003 when we unfurled Gilbert Baker’s Sea-to-Sea Rainbow Flag. Our entire community came together to sew and carry a truly colorful demonstration of Key West’s One Human Family motto. I enjoy welcoming new folks to this very special place.
